Pizanos makes a 10-inch gluten-free pizza crust you can load with any toppings on our menu, plus a full lineup of salads that can be prepared gluten-free. It's not a side note on the menu. It's a real pizza, made to order, in downtown Reno.

 

We're a family-run counter that's been serving downtown Reno since 2013, and gluten-free guests have been part of that from early on. You order it the same way everyone else does: pick your crust, pick your toppings, done. No separate short menu, no "here's your three options."

A NOTE ON CROSS-CONTACT

 

We take gluten-free seriously: we use dedicated gluten-free screens, spatulas, and cutters, and our gluten-free ingredients aren't cross-contaminated with gluten products before they reach us. That said, Pizanos is not a gluten-free kitchen. We make our own pizza dough here every day using wheat flour, so gluten is present in the air and on surfaces throughout the space. If you have celiac disease or a gluten allergy where any amount of contact is a problem, we can't guarantee a completely gluten-free environment, and you should weigh that before ordering. For most people managing a gluten sensitivity, our process is built to keep things clean, just let your server know so our team can walk you through it.

We're a neighborhood pizza counter that happens to take gluten-free seriously, because a lot of our regulars need it and we'd rather they get a real pizza than an apology.
